EVENT ARCHIVES - 2007Go to 2008 Event ArchivesCoyote Fifty Cabo San Lucas Trip VideoArizona Meet-UpCoyote Fifty welcomed new members who attended the ‘Meet-Up’ on Thursday, November 15th from 4:00PM-6:30PM at the Yard House Restaurant on the South patio. Coyote Fifty’s service ideals allow us to be mini-Oprah’s, each of us giving to our full potential. We need other women to help make it happen. Our meeting benefited ‘Eve’s Place’, a Domestic Violence Shelter here in the South West Valley. We collected toys, small enough to fit into a backpack and under $5.00each. For more information on how you can help this non-government funded charity contact Laurel at 623.853.6930. From 7:00PM-9:00PM, some of the Coyote Fifty Women attended The ‘Arizona Coyotes’ vs The ‘San Jose Sharks’, hockey game at The Jobing.com Arena. Spouses, significant others and our children were welcome. This was a fun evening for all of us and we're looking forward to meeting more Coyote Fifty women at the next 'Meet-Up'. Coyote Fifty Arizona Meet-Up
After our dinner meeting we attended The Arizona Coyotes vs. The Minnesota Wilds hockey game at The Jobing.com Arena. (Formerly the Glendale Arena). The Susan G Komen, Race For The Cure, which is a Breast Cancer Walk, took place on the following day, so this Meet-Up was essential to get to know other Coyote Fifty Members participating in the Walk. Race for the CureCoyote Fifty Women participated in the 15th Annual Komen Race for the Cure in Phoenix. Information about the Race for the Cure can be found here. Coyote Fifty Women Contribute to the Race For the Cure! Coyote Fifty Arizona Meet-UpWe had a wonderful meeting from 5pm to 7pm at the Gateway Center Yard house Restaurant with about 30 women present. This was a social gathering with women asking questions about Coyote Fifty and where we are headed as a club. After our meeting, several of the Coyote Fifty Women attended the Arizona Coyotes/Colorado Avalanche hockey game where we all participated enthusiastically in the Arizona Coyote's Howl! Thanks to all the women that we met that night, we enjoyed your participation and input, and hope to see all of you again at future Coyote Fifty functions! Coyote Fifty Charity Fun CruiseThe Coyote Fifty Charity Fun Cruise was a great opportunity to meet other wonderful Coyote Fifty women, and to make some needed donations to the Children Today Organization in Long Beach, CA.
The Children Today Organization is a Long Beach facility providing much needed services to children and families experiencing homelessness. They had expressed a need for socks, undergarments (sizes 2T-6X), new or barely used boys clothing, (same sizes), and Walmart and Target gift cards. Visit www.childrentoday.org for more information about this wonderful program, and, to find out how you can still help this organization. PF Chang Rock and Roll Arizona Marathon and 1/2 MarathonIn January 2007, Coyote Fifty Women met in Phoenix Arizona to participate in the PF Chang Rock and Roll Arizona Marathon and 1/2 Marathon. Some women walked and some ran the marathon, but we all shared a wonderful sense of accomplishment and had a whole lot of fun at the same time! |
